Big Nike Foamposite Hitting House of Hoops This Month
You saw it with the Hyperize Decade Pack, iconic Nike shoes reapplied to different models, and now we have a Big Nike Foamposite hitting House of Hoops locations in the next few weeks. It takes the classic eggplant Foamposite and applies it to a Big Nike silhouette. It has a blacked out midsole and laces, with a grey speckle outsole. The large print Nike on the heel, which is the namesake of the model, is black as well with a grey stroke. For more shots check the Gallery.
Nike Zoom Skyposite Amare Stoudemire Coming in December
Performance basketball shoes are getting lighter and lighter, and the new Nike Zoom Skyposite is no exception. This new Amare Stoudemire PE will hit House of Hoops in December. It features a black gradient upper which blends into the purple lunar-lite midsole. The signature Amare Stoudemire “AS” is in purple over the black tongue and laces. For more shots check the Gallery.
Zoom Lebron Soldier III “Kay Yow” at House of Hoops 9/17
This special color-up of the Zoom Lebron Soldier III honors the late Kay Yow, former coach of the NC State women’s basketball team who passed in January after a long battle with breast cancer. In continued support for her WBCA Cancer fund (there was a similar release for the Hyperdunk and Blue Chip in February ‘09 and a Lisa Leslie release several weeks ago) House of Hoops will release this Pink Zoom Lebron Soldier III, adorned with the fund’s logo on the lateral strap and “dream” on the inside of the tongue. Nike Cradle Rock Steve Nash “Asia Pack” at House of Hoops 9/18
This Friday 9/18 the limited Cradle Rock Supreme x Steve Nash Asia Pack will be available at House of Hoops. It dropped a week ago in Asia, but now it looks like you won’t have to book a flight just to pick them up.
The pack consists of shoes repping Thailand, China, Japan and the Philippines through bright colors, patterns on the heel, and call-outs on the tongue. Detailed shots of each after the jump.

adidas TS Commander LT Dwight Howard Black/White/Blue
The adidas TS Commander LT DHoward in the Magic colorway will drop at Foot Locker in November.
This colorway of the Commander LT is black based with black suede on the toe and back heel. The blue midsole has stars representing Superman’s team, the Orlando Magic. The upper features black perforated leather with three white stripes. Below is a close up of the tongue that reads “The Man Child.”
The Man Child led the Magic to the NBA Finals last year only to lose to the Lake Show. After adding Vince Carter and Jason Williams along with some other key role players in the off season, the Magic look to get back to the Finals in hopes of bringing home the title. Release Confirmation: Big Nike High Foamposite 9/23 at House of Hoops
The Big Nike High in the eggplant Foamposite colorway (technically it’s abyss/black/metallic silver) will drop at House of Hoops locations Wednesday 9/23. For more shots and details check the Gallery, and check back today and tomorrow for some other House of Hoops releases coming this week.
Nike Air Force 1 Nitro Microphone at House of Hoops Saturday, 9/26
Adding a little bling to the AF1, this black/metallic gold joint will drop at House of Hoops locations Saturday, 9/26. It celebrates the 10th anniversary of the debut album from Japanese Hip-Hop group “Nitro Microphone Underground.” Their freshman record was so popular that stores blew-out of copies and it had to be repackaged and redistributed. Something tells me if the same thing happens with these shoes there won’t be a second run, so don’t sleep in this weekend. More shots after the jump.
London Capital and Paris Levallois Hyperize at Harlem House of Hoops 9/24
To celebrate the opening of 2 European locations of House of Hoops, Oxford Street in London and Les Halles in Paris, the Harlem House of Hoops will release two limited Hyperize Supreme’s on Thursday, 9/24.
We mentioned this back in July, but now the shoes are finally here.
The London version is university blue/black-white, inspired by the colors of the local pro squad “London Capital.”
The Paris version is blue sapphire/white-sport red, based on their local team “Paris Levallois.”
Air Max Lebron VII Pink Fire at Foot Locker in January
The Air Max Lebron VII drops in this exclusive pink fire/black, at Foot Locker and Kids Foot Locker in January. It will be available in infant (3-10), pre-school (11-3), and grade-school sizes (3.5-7), good news for any ladies looking to snatch a pair. Exclusive colors are rarely released for kids, making this a notable drop.
I think I might have to surprise my girl with a pair of these for V-day. I hope she doesn’t read this…
